Colin Munroe, Wale, and the Future

So I am not sure what to think of this. Is it like Matthew Santos singing on Lupe Fiasco’s “Superstar” or is Colin Munroe bigger and better than a crooning singer songwriter? Just think about that guy from OneRepublic- Ryan Tedder. Who would have known that he was Timbaland’s student and a Grammy-nominated producer? He has worked with J-lo, Natasha bedingfield, Ashkey Tidsdale, and Kelly Clarkson. Sure, none of those people are killing it on my iPod right now, but people around the world like ‘em.
As far as this song goes, Munroe plays keys, drums, sings, and I am assuming, arranged the piece. Wale is a lot of fun, so let’s see what happens with these guys in ‘09.
I just downloaded Colin Munroe is the Unsung Hero. I’m going to jam it tomorrow, so I’ll see how it goes. Give it a listen.
